Her bright white hair, often bound neatly into a bun, mirrors the gleaming white plate mail she wears into battle. Across her back she bears a silvered halberd, its edge catching the light like a shard of dawn itself. Her face, though stern and disciplined, holds a quiet beauty, the kind that speaks of both hardship and resolve. Behind her red eyes burns a steady, compassionate warmth - a reminder that even in shadow, hope endures. ### Life of Zaryrr #### Early Life Born in the overworld [[Elves|Drow]] settlement of [[Nigosyadel]], deep within the forested valleys of [[Zeshana]], Zaryrr grew up beneath a sun her people had long been denied. The daughter of two escaped Drow from the city of Athivae, she was trained from an early age by her mother - once a guard of House LeBronn - in the disciplined arts of her kin. Her parents taught her the old ways of the Drow: which traditions to honour as marks of strength and pride, and which to cast aside as chains of cruelty. Yet unlike many of their kind who turned to [[Eilistraee]] or [[Erathis]], Zaryrr's parents had placed their faith in the [[Pelor|Dawnfather]] - the god of the sun they had once fled from. It was in [[Pelor|Pelor's]] light that Zaryrr was raised, and it was his warmth that she would come to embody. #### Life When she reached her thirties, Zaryrr struck out on her own, guided only by her faith and her sense of duty. For a decade she wandered [[Stacia]] and [[Meksiko]], lending her sword to the helpless and her strength to the weary. Her path eventually led her south to [[Togas]], where she helped free enslaved souls at the port of Roca, destined for the far [[Elves|Elven]] lands of [[Illalenora]]. On her return north, fate brought her to a Dawnwarden of [[Pelor]], who, seeing her courage and conviction, took her on as his Squire. Despite her mastery of arms, she humbled herself to learn Pelor's teachings. Two years later, she was knighted beneath the radiant windows of Pelor's temple in [[Rexsall]]. As a knight, she travelled [[Aekaciran]] and saw the [[Elves|Grey Drow]] free both in the [[Underdark]] and the world above. It was a reality she wished to give any Drow who wanted it, but she knew she could not do it alone. She spent the next four years teaching at the Hall of the Sun until she was invested as a Dawnwarden. It was then, with a position that allowed her to lead a group of knights, that she set sail for [[Zeshana]] with a retinue of fifty Knights of Pelor. The next forty years of her life were bloody, and rewarding. Her and her band of warriors fought the cruel [[Elves|Drow]] of the [[Underdark]] to protect [[Gnomes|Deep Gnomes]] travelling the sub terrain tunnels. They staged rescue missions to escort any Drow defectors to the surface. Many knights were killed but more joined up, to spread [[Pelor|Pelor's]] light in this place of darkness. It was after this initial campaign of light in the dark, that Zaryrr returned to the Hall of the Sun to participate in the funeral games of a fallen Paragon of Hope. With her halberd and years of experience, she bested everyone who faced her and was voted Paragon in a unanimous vote. Taking [[Duana|Duana's]] own mantle of The Flame of Morning. Even as Paragon, she spends most of her time going to and from the [[Underdark]], freeing people, spreading hope in a hopeless place. During this time, she met a young knight she grew to like then to love. It was here she met Ser [[Koryn Fischer]], then a Knight of the Dawn, and invested him as Dawnwarden. After this, they started their relationship, eventually marrying in 3051.
