His mane is thick and wild, threaded with simple bone rings in the tribal style of the Katellos Savannah, and his golden eyes burn with the steady intensity of a watchful judge rather than a predator. He wears no plate, no shield, no ceremonial blade - only white cloth and a sun-marked belt, the symbol of Pelor displayed proudly where his tribe once demanded it be denied. In battle he fights with claw, fang, and unrestrained strength, for he believes that honour needs no ornament and truth needs no polished steel. His voice is deep and sparingly used, and when he speaks, it is with the weight of someone who has never once lied - a presence that does not demand respect, but forces it into silence. ### Life of Kellios #### Early Life Kellios was born beneath the blazing skies of the Katellos Savannah, among the Ebony Claws Tribe, a people who lived by strength alone and bowed to no god. The Leonin believed the gods were chains meant for weaker races - that no true hunter needed a master above the sky. But even from youth, Kellios felt the pull of the sun, not as an enemy to endure, but as something watching, calling, guiding. When he spoke of a god in the light, the tribe mocked him. When he refused to abandon the belief, they grew uneasy. The breaking point came during a tribal moot, when the elders demanded he renounce the “sky-god” before the whole tribe - to spit in the dust and swear no Leonin would ever kneel to a god of outsiders. Kellios refused. Words became threats, and threats became violence, and the fight that followed was not a duel of honour but a storm of claws and fury, ending with Kellios standing bloodied and surrounded by his own people. Given one choice - deny the god or be cast out - Kellios walked into exile without bending the knee. He left the savannah with nothing but his claws, his conviction, and the sun at his back. He was not banished for losing control - he was banished for refusing to lie. #### Life His path led him through Vangrallag into Aekacira then to Khorathi, where he found the Temple of the Stars, a place where every god of Aeborhia was painted on stone. There he first learned the name of the sun that had followed him all his life - Pelor, the Dawnfather. From there he travelled across the country to the Hall of the Sun in Goldhearth, where Pelor's Swords trained and served. Among armoured knights and priests of the light, Kellios was unlike any of them - massive, wild-blooded, a predator by nature. Yet he swore the oaths, knelt in the light, and rose as a Knight of the Dawn. He climbed the ranks quickly, not by charm or diplomacy but by unyielding conviction: Kellios never lied, never flinched, never compromised what he believed was right. To many knights, he remained an outsider - no lordly name, no coat of arms, no sword of ceremony. But in every council, in every mission, in every trial, he spoke only the truth, even when it cost him allies… and that made others listen. When First Sword Yenzin, the Bastion of Truth died, the funeral games were held, and Kellios fought - not with steel, but with the same ferocity that had once seen him exiled. He did not duel with elegance or flourish, but with the raw, honest strength of a creature who refused to hide behind pretence. When the games ended, the vote was unanimous. Kellios was chosen as the new Paragon of Honour - and took the mantle of 'The Bastion of Truth'. He now serves alongside the Paragons of Light, and though many knights still struggle to understand him, none doubt him. For Kellios does not bend, does not flatter, and does not act honourable - he is honour, made flesh and claw. Even now, he travels often back to the Katellos Savannah, attempting to bring the light of Pelor to the nomad tribes - not with sermons, but with example. Some greet him with reverence. Others greet him with spears. But Kellios does not stop. For to him, honour is not a banner or a title.
